Maximizing Carrier Profitability & Efficiency

Net Sync™ - the breakthrough end-to-end OSS Network Reconciliation Solution by BottomLine Data Solutions (BDS). Leveraging a proprietary equipment and circuit reconciliation methodology, while harnessing the power of the BDS CircuitWise Suite™, Net Sync™ reconciles the "white spaces" existing between the 'virtual' representation of a Communications Carrier network infrastructure and the true 'As-built' configuration. The results - Carriers achieve maximum organizational efficiencies, minimize financial waste and boost revenues, thereby promoting profitability and competitive position. A self-funding solution, Net Sync™ comes bundled with the knowledge-sets and tools required to safeguard data reconciliation and quality prospectively.

Figure 1: Net Sync Data Flow

The Net Sync Solution is a marriage between BottomLine's '9 Step Equipment & Circuit Reconciliation Methodology' and its next generation CircuitWise Enterprise Software. Figure 1 above, displays how data flows through CircuitWise, beginning in raw form in Step 1A, all the way through Steps 9A and 9B where verified, audited data is corrected in the OSS. Specifically, OSS data passes through the Solution as follows:

Step 1A: all OSS data stores (Provisioning, Billing, COGS, etc.) deemed within scope are identified and mapped.

Step 1B: intelligent network elements are polled for the applicable equipment and circuit (physical and logical) data

Step 2: equipment and circuit data is stored in the CircuitWise database for validation and reconciliation purposes

Step 3: field validation files (raw OSS data) are prepared and loaded into the MobileMap mobile computing module of CircuitWise

Step 4: relying in part on the benefits of scanning technology, raw OSS data is audited in the field

Step 5: equipment and circuit corrections are captured electronically in MobileMap

Step 6: here, the audited field data is electronically transferred to the CircuitWise database

Step 7: now, the CircuitWise database has two representations of the equipment and circuit data deployed at the network location - both raw data as pulled from the OSS, and audited data as captured in the field (or via equipment polling)

Step 8: the WiseAnalyze reconciliation engine embedded within the CircuitWise Suite calculates exceptions in up to 12 different exception report categories

Step 9A: exceptions are validated as true errors and corrected in the OSS

Step 9B: exceptions are validated as true errors and automatically corrected in the OSS via API integration

Step 10: the WiseAnalyze rack face drawing representations pertaining to the site are automatically updated as indicated
