Maximizing Carrier Profitability & Efficiency

When time-to-market is key - Net Load is the answer. Where financial and staff resources are scarce - Net Load brings automation. When systems need to be brought into production quickly - Net Load can help.

The Net Load Solution by BottomLine Data Solutions - the next generation OSS (Operations Support Systems) Equipment and Circuit Data Load Solution. Harnessing the power of the CircuitWise Suite and API integration, Net Load allows Communications Carriers to rapidly and accurately store, export and load targeted data into their OSS. The most common scenarios where customers benefit most from Net Load include:

  1. Greenfield system implementation

  2. Targeted data update or introduction

  3. System conversion

  4. System upgrade

  5. Load of acquired network properties

  6. Load of individual network locations

Gone are the days of manually entering OSS corrections by hand. With Net Load, foreign network site information, cross-connect, circuit and other key provisioning data can instantly be uploaded by a click of the mouse. Net Load also increases OSS data integrity while removing the data entry layer, but most importantly Net Load saves Carriers two valuable resources - time and money.

Figure 1: Net Load Data Flow

As an example, Figure 1 above, displays how data is received and flows through CircuitWise during the course of a 'greenfield' system implementation. Specifically, data passes through the Solution as follows:

  • Step 1: parts catalog and specification information is extracted from the foreign data environment via the WiseExtract module of CircuitWise

  • Step 2: parts catalog and equipment specification data obtained via WiseExtract or via API integration, is stored in the CircuitWise database for later use

  • Step 3: parts catalog data site audit files (equipment and circuit) are loaded into the MobileMap mobile computing module of CircuitWise

  • Step 4: relying in part on the benefits of scanning technology, and readily available parts information, network locations are efficiently built out 'from scratch' a site at a time - entirely electronically

  • Step 5: equipment and circuit 'as-built' data is captured electronically in MobileMap

  • Step 6: here, the audited field data is electronically transferred to the CircuitWise database

  • Step 7: audited data as captured in the field (or via equipment polling) is previewed by data administrator

  • Step 8: the WiseAnalyze reconciliation engine embedded within the CircuitWise Suite sets the stage for data migration

  • Step 9a: limited data (if any) updated in the OSS utilizing CircuitWise reports

  • Step 9b: equipment and circuit data auto-populated in the OSS via API integration

  • Step 10: the WiseAnalyze rack face drawing representations pertaining to the site are automatically updated as indicated
